WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW...
Magnetic Materials
The finest materials are used to provide you with the best in Magnetic
Vehicle Advertising!
Your new custom car magnetic comes clean and ready to be placed
on your vehicle. NOTE: A magnetic sign should NEVER be applied to
a newly painted vehicle. Allow at least 60 days for fresh paint
to cure!
Surface Preparation
Before placing your new custom magnetic sign on your vehicle, please
make sure the area where you will place your sign has been thoroughly
cleaned. It is always preferable for the surface area to be waxed.
Your new custom magnet should only be placed on an area of your
vehicle that is flat! Do Not place your magnet on any surface that
has ridges or areas that are not smooth! When placing your new custom
magnet on your vehicle, take your time. If you create an air pocket
when placing your sign on your vehicle, realign. DO NOT Pull Your
Magnetic Sign Along Your Vehicle To Realign Its Position. (Your
magnet may stretch due to resistance).
Cleaning Your Custom Magnetic Sign.
Removal & Maintenance
Clean Your Sign, At Least Once A Week! Remove the sign from your
vehicle once a week! Always remove the sign by lifting from the
center of the two opposite sides...never start from the corners,
as this may stretch the sign. In cold weather, preheat the sign
with warm water before removal, if necessary. Once removed, wash
and dry the vehicle and all sign surfaces. To clean the signs, use
a sponge and a mild soapy water solution. NEVER immerse the signs
in water, steam clean, or take them through a car wash*. Be sure
to re-wax the vehicle periodically. * We've had clients reorder
signs simply because they forgot that they had their signs on their
vehicles when they went through the car wash. Undoubtedly their
sign were lost on the floor of the car wash.
